Health Insurance!!

I've been down sick a few days, which is why I haven't been posting. Brings up an interesting and important matter, though - Health Insurance.
I can't afford it now (living at the poverty level), but once I get to the point where I have employees, they're going to have super benefits. Will help me attract talented people as well as being the right thing to do.
Any independent publishers out there paying for insurance?
I've been extremely lucky the last 2.5 years (except for once...), but I know it won't last forever.
Thoughts on this?

We don't offer it yet.
We've been here nearly 10 years and still cannot afford to do it.
We really want to, since it helps to attract and keep good employees. But our folks understand, since we're very honest with them about our finances. It has cost us people in the past, because they left to get insurance. It stinks that we can't do it, but we can only do what we can. Insurance rates that rise rapidly each year would endanger the business since the costs can neither be predicted nor controlled.
national group rates?
i wonder if at some point someone could aggregate a lot of small sites like ours to purchase health insurance at a discount... how many would it take? what would the numbers look like? something for us all to think about maybe.

Get married.
If you're a couple, and you both work on the site, you can be a small business, and get small business insurance rates. I know a couple who's done this and they are very glad they did.
(at least this is my understanding.)
